Each of our outhouses a hand built one piece at a time, just like you would build a real one. The roofs are handsplit cedar or corrageted metal. Although most of the time we give them a finish that makes them have the old appearance, we can also finish them natural. Built at a scale of 1" =1' they fit in with meny items on ths market today. Look inside you'll find, a roll of toilet paper,a coat hanger, a lantern, and even a old sears catalog. No 2 are alike I build one at a time and how the materials and mood let me. I number and sign each one. Their is two styles of roof shed and gable, most outhouses had a simple shed roof.
Announcement
We are presently working on a new outhouse, this’ time we are doing a G-scale which is the model railroad scale for garden railroads. This came about when a customer called us about doing one for him.
It has started to excite me, it’s a challenge but it’s enjoyable. The scale is about ½ the size of our present ones and it has all the details that we have built in the original.
Soon we will have more details to pass on, but our plans right now are to build a cantilever barn and a covered bridge. Future could include other barns, a general store, and who knows what else.
